Anthem 5K Fitness ClassicThe start and finish lines are located in front of the Anthem Building at 13550 Triton Park Blvd. in the Eastpoint Business Center. The Eastpoint Business Center is located off of the Gene Snyder Freeway between Old Henry Road and LaGrange Road.
Course InfoThe start line is located in front of the Anthem Building at 13550 Triton Park Blvd. Participants should line up on Eastpoint Parkway. The course will run south on Eastpoint Parkway and loop through the Eastpoint Business Center before finishing back at the Anthem Building.
Course RestrictionsAbsolutely no participant is allowed on the course prior to 8:00 AM (EDT). Any participant on the race course before 8:00 AM will be asked to leave the course.
For the safety of all participants, the following are prohibited from the course at all times:
- Roller or Inline Skates
- Bicycles (including Hand Crank Bicycles)
- Animals (No Pets)
- Any gas or electrical operated vehicle, i.e. motor scooters
Race officials reserve the right to disqualify or remove from the course any participant whose activity violates any condition set fourth above or who poses a potential harm to himself/herself or any other participant.
Runners have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the course (by 9:30 AM). Finish line area facilities will officially close at that time.
ParkingRace Day Parking
Be sure to allow plenty of time on race morning to find parking. Packet Pickup closes at 7:30 AM and the race will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
Parking will be available at several businesses located along Eastpoint Parkway and within the Eastpoint Business Center. Parking on Eastpoint Parkway can be accessed from the northbound lanes of Eastpoint Parkway, via the Old Henry exit off the Gene Snyder Freeway.
DirectionsThe start and finish lines are located in front of the Anthem Building at 13550 Triton Park Blvd. in the Eastpoint Business Center. The Eastpoint Business Center is located off of the Gene Snyder Freeway between Old Henry Road and LaGrange Road.
From I-64 take the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) north to the Old Henry Road Exit. Turn left onto Old Henry Road. At the 1st stoplight, turn right onto Nelson Miller Parkway. Turn right onto Eastpoint Parkway. The Anthem Building is located approximately 1/2 of a mile on the left.
From I-71 take the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) south to the LaGrange Road Exit. Turn left onto LaGrange Road. Turn left onto Nelson Miller Parkway. Turn left onto Eastpoint Parkway. The Anthem Building is located approximately 3/4 of a mile down Eastpoint Parkway on the right. Portions of southbound Eastpoint Parkway around the Anthem Building will be closed on race morning beginning at 5:30 AM. All of southbound Eastpoint Parkway will close 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.
Portions of southbound Eastpoint Parkway around the start and finish areas will be closed beginning at 5:30 AM. Nelson Miller Parkway and all of southbound Eastpoint Parkway, along with the rest of the course, will be closed 10 minutes prior to the start of the race. The Northbound lanes of Eastpoint Parkway and one southbound lane of traffic on Stanley Gault Parkway from LaGrange Road to Old Henry Road will remain open during the event. The police will reopen sections of the race course to traffic as the end of the race passes and it is deemed safe for participants.
RestroomsPortable restrooms are located near the start and finish lines. The portable restrooms are located in the east parking lot of the Anthem Building.
